This post is a round-up of all the resources available for families when it comes to supporting your child in their at home practice.
At home support is super important for budding musicians. A weekly lesson is simply not enough time to master an instrument - practicing at home between lessons is where the real magic happens!
We know it can be difficult to know what to do or say during practice time, especially if you are not musical yourself. There are some awesome resources out there to help bridge the gap between teacher and parent.
We'll keep this document updated as new resources become available!

"Your child starts playing an instrument. Then they grow frustrated, impatient and bored. Then they quit and years later wish they didn't.
Why does this happen to so many people? Bad teaching? Boring music? Is playing the clarinet not cool enough? How can you stop this from happening? What can you do to help?
I Wish I Didn't Quit: Music Lessons gives you the tools and ideas to help your child succeed along their musical journey. By understanding your role in their journey, your child's musical environment and what really made Mozart a genius, you can help your child to love their instrument and never regret giving up.
"From Beethoven to Billy Joel, Mozart to Mary Lou Williams, and Scott Joplin to Stevie Wonder, be inspired by some of the most interesting people who have ever played the piano.
Why Is My Piano Black and White? takes you on a musical journey to help you discover the weird and wonderful world of the piano, and the people who make music on it! Filled with fun facts, jokes, quizzes and music-after you read it, the piano will never be the same again!"
